CryptoKitties and Dapper Labs co-founder Mack Flavelle has signed a new deal with major Hollywood talent agency William Morris Endeavor Entertainment (WME).
The new deal could open up opportunities for some of Dapper Labs’ non-fungible token (NFT) collections, like CryptoKitties and NBA Top Shot, to get noticed by top Hollywood rainmakers.
WME gains a foothold in the NFT industry
This new partnership may come as no surprise to those who have been following Flavelle’s moves for some time.
The Dapper Labs co-founder had already bridged the gap between NFTs and mainstream media after founding the big head club, a studio that provides NFTs to TV shows. Flavelle’s NFT studio has produced NFTs for TV shows such as Stoner Cats and Germinations, both of which are backed by Hollywood personalities.
While no official details of the Flavelle deal have been released, WME has made some notable inroads into the NFT space recently. Recent agreements focus on adapting the intellectual property inherent in NFT collections for applications in other media, such as games, film and television.

In October 2021, WME ink a deal with Pixel Vault, an NFT-focused company with two major intellectual properties, Punks Comic and the MetaHero universe, which sought to expand the reach of their ownership across multiple media formats.
