Lionsgate picks up Streets of Rage movie

Lionsgate is acquiring the film rights to Streets of Rage, and John Wick writer Derek Kolstad will be on board to pen the screenplay.


Lionsgate has acquired the film rights to streets of angera classic beat ’em up video game series that was first released by Sega in 1991. Based on their commitment to bringing the streets of anger series on the big screen, it’s obvious that Lionsgate sees a lot of potential in the franchise.
